Employee Engagement and Productivity Managing a remote team – 15th August 2021


Running remote teams isn’t easy and many will have employees working remotely for a while to come.  Some solutions for improving engagement and productivity for home workers include:

  • Hold regular team meetings – more than you usually have
  • Wellbeing should be an agenda item all team/individual meetings – make it the first agenda topic
  • Have regular 121s with each team member
  • Make regular phone calls to touch base and catch up
  • If you haven’t heard from someone in a while, check in with them
  • Ensure your team have plenty of opportunities to let you know how the new way of working is going for them and take all concerns seriously. Remember employee involvement is key in improving engagement
