Coronavirus Return to The Office? – 8th July 2020

Although lockdown is easing the message from the Government is that where people should work from home wherever possible.  If work cannot be delivered from home, then employers must follow the guidance for their sector and location. Remember though that universal guidelines do not take individual employees’ circumstances into account so employers will need to take into account childcare responsibilities or vulnerability to severe health risks.  When brining employees back be mindful of not breaching employees’ contracts and remember that employees are not obliged to work in an unsafe environment.
